Newhouse Construction takes on custom renovations, extensions and additions, and the carpentry that gives a home its finish. Most of our work comes from clients who have been through a build with us and passed our name on.
That comes from running a job properly: a schedule you can hold us to, and straight answers about what is going on, including the parts you would rather not hear. A renovation is your home and a few months of your life, and we treat it that way.
The team of carpenters, plumbers and trades on site has worked with us for years and knows how we do things. You can talk to any of them.

What we do
Extensions and additions
Extra rooms, rear extensions and additions that sit naturally with the house you already have. We handle the structure, the weatherproofing and the tie-in, so the new part looks like it was always meant to be there.
High-end carpentry
Stairs, decks, cladding, joinery and the detail work that gives a home its finish. It is the part of the job we are fussiest about, because it is the part you look at every day.
Heritage work
Older homes with character worth keeping: terraces, cottages and federation houses. We work with the original fabric, match what has to be matched, and bring the rest up to how you want to live now.
Shop fit-outs
Salons, retail and small commercial spaces, built to a programme so you open on the date. Joinery, feature walls and finishes that stand up to daily trade.
